I have naturally curly hair and it is frizzy and damaged from dying it a long time ago....i want to dye it a electric black color and i want to get a punk cut but i dont kno wat to do..any tips?

I would deff. go to a salon. I have extemely curly hair and have always hated it until I accually straighted in. I wanted my curls BACK! Anyway, If you dye it your self then be sure to use color-treated shampoo because the dye will wash out and begin to fade in like a week and a half or 2 weeks. I know mine did. The black faded to a brownish orange color! It was gross!

Use a styling pomade that won't let it move once it dries.

I just went through the same thing.. I had 12 inches taken off and my hair is totally culry naturally.. I love the short locks and black is the bomb on anyone.. go for it.... Use pink lustre silk on it.. with take all the frizz out.. i wont leave home without it in my hair...

if u use the box die and die ur hair on ur own thats what is making ur hair all frizzy so go to a salon ..... also a really cute punk cut would b to get ur hair cut off jaw length i think that iz so kewl

Unfortunately trying to manipulate curly hair that is already damaged won't look very good. If you are really daring and want to do something interesting why not try the old chelsea mod style. The majority of your head is shaved to about 1/4" and keep the entire outer border of your hair about 3 - 4". This way you can dye it whatever colour you like and you will have chopped off all the old damaged hair.

Also it won't take too long for the hair to start growing and this will give you a whole bunch of options when you are looking to do something different.

If it is damaged from dying it a long time ago, why would you want to dye it again? You should probably cut it short and just start over... not do anything to it for a long time.
