I think that people label you right away, if u have blonde hair.. wear makeup.. people say that ur fake etc. How can judge someone without knowin them and call them names?

I personally think christina aguilera is a amazing artist and when her album stripped came out, people started calling her s l u t and they dont even know her story.. what shes been through. i think everyone is different and beautiful in their own way, inside or out. do u agree?

Sometimes we judge people in the first 5 seconds we look at them, but we should stop to think because not everythin is how it seems..

If guys dress like a gangsta, people think they steal, cheat etc but it could just be their style and taste in music. Punk people have their own style too,.

You are absolutely right. I dress mostly in jeans and t-shirts with bands on them (Heavy Metal genre) with a black biker-style leather jacket and other automatically assume I'm dumb, a drinker and a drug user. I'm none of the above.

If people actually sat down and talked to each other instead of making snap decisions about one another, the world would be a better place, wouldn't it?

My friend is a fan of Creed and she's always getting nasty comments, just because she thinks Stapp has an excellent voice. People think just because she's a fan of his that she's a dingbat. She's not. It kind of makes me mad to see her stereotyped as well.

It's not nice to stereotype people. People should just talk to others for a while, then make up their minds.

Yes. But truthfully, the way some people package themselves.....it would be damn near impossible to not.

people do judge quickly ,but what can we do about it are mind is like program to judge people right away ,by looks and other things, but remember we are only human, so we cant do anthing about,and somtimes you cant help it but judge.

Something funny about humans: these judgments you speak of are mainly automatic. We nearly don't elaborate them at all. Psychologically, we evaluate (judge) people based only on -not their looks alone, careful here- but for the way they PRESENT themselves to the World. It's not only how you look or dress, there are many other factors involved, such as posture, body language, voice tone, speech style, vocabulary, clothing, accessories, eye contact, behaviors, reactions, etc. Can this impression be wrong? Certainly. But in biological terms an organism has to be quick coming to a decision about another, in terms of danger/mating/socials/etc. Anyway, we came a long way from the times we were hanging from trees... so we can think about people more deeply than our instincts command.
