Do you agree that this emo, scene, skater, punk, goth, and prep is just a stupid fad. I think that these labels me nothing at all. Will this fad ever end? Why do these so called ''Preps'' have to totally hate ''emo'' people %26amp;%26amp; stuff because of our society. We need to move on. None of these stereotypes even exsist. Its the way we express ourselves. Should we judge the way we dress? No! Why can't we hang out with people who have blonde hair and wear Hollister and then we have black hair with hot topic clothing. We can still have the same interests.

stereotypes are an extreme of something so as to exaggerate a particluar flaw. they aren't 100% true even if someone does seem to fit a paricular stereotype. there is always more to a person than what they show you.

but anyway no they won't ever go away. its part of human nature to judge. if we didn't judge based on past experience or second hand knowledge than we would probably try to befriend a crazy person and get shot.

but I do believe that a lot of people are close-minded..especially in high school. some people do grow out of it though.

I go to an all girl school, and my group is titled "the jocks", although we don't all play sport, they are about 20 of us, consisting of sporty people (over half are sporty) then we have some creative people and even one emo, we accept anyone who is loud and interesting, anyone who can contribute to the group

You have to dress like something, pretty much, or you just wear t shirts that say nothing on them. Really, it's absurd. It's hard to even be sensitive because you might be classed as emo, and such.

fads yes, stupid absolutely and they are just more of the same. when my grandmother was young they had theirs, my mother the same and when i was in school it was the preps, jocks, freaks and nerds...hasn't really changed all that much in 20 years
