All that is is a little back combing and some hairspray.

It's a very basic layered cut. Definitely print the picture and take it to the hairdresser with you. I think the picture of her holding the teddy bear gives the best idea of the type of cut you want - I'd print that off and take it in. By the way, it's exactly how I'm getting my hair cut today!

Your hair would not look like that if you have thick hair.

My guess is that she uses a straightener on it because if you look at the sides, it looks very endy, dry and burnt.

My hair is a lot like that, and here's how I style it:

First, bring a picture and go to your hairstylist. Make sure they put LOTS of layers in.

Second, you'll want to tease your hair to make it poofy and have more volume,

Third, use some type of hairspray to make the poofiness of your hair stay in place. :] Good luck!

It would depend on your hair type -- is it fine/thick, damaged, had a lot of chemical treatments, etc. Your hairstylist will be able to tell you how you need to treat your hair to maintain that style. Watch her as she styles it so you can try to do it yourself. It helps to try doing it at the shop so she can tell you what you are doing right and wrong. Hope I helped a little :)

Your best bet is to go to the best salon and take the picture with you and say thats the style your going for. It involves varied layers on top and keeping a one length at the bottom section. You need to get razor cut layers and use a styling wax such to achieve the piecy look. Would be easy to style. Mine is similarly cut, only short and I love it.
