What haircut/stlyes would you sugest for me? (thick wavy and layered, want something emo/punk!)?

I have ranodmly layored, thick, curly, black hair.

I love it, but its sooo thick and hot and i reall want someting kinda short punk/emo.

But being its wavy and thick, i cant pull off the super slick emo cut.

Sooo any ideas? Heres some pics...shh, I look like crap but they show my hair the best

keep it about shoulder length. lots of layers. very choppy. no bangs. keep it parted on the side but away from your face.

I don't think cutting it is a very good idea. If you go any shorter, it will look very poofy and bulky. Maybe just a trim will do you good. My hair is really thick like that too so i know what a struggle it is to get it to stay styled. Especially because all of the humidity in GA! Good luck to you!

well for emo i think a short hair cut would look cute.

but since u have thick wavy hair idk how it would look,

idk if youre a 30 seconds to mars fan...but if you are i would reccomend something like Jared Leto's cut. if youre not a fan its basically cut your hair to about your shoulders(maybe a little shorter) and straighten it.if you want to go for the full look get lond side swept bangs(,dye your hair black if youre really daring) and add flame red tips to your hair and bangs. heres a few links to pics of it.
